The Teen Life Community Camp is designed to provide cultural immersion, build youth and family relationships and actively engage participants and their families with developing skills in communication, impulse control, anger management, cognitive thinking, and health and wellness leading to better self-evaluation, self-motivation, self-discipline and self-actualization.

C.A.R.E. for Change, Inc. staff has scheduled the Teen Life Community Camp. This day camp was formed to help parents and guardians looking for something productive to do for their children and adolescents during school breaks. The camp is facilitated by C.A.R.E. for Change Inc. Staff and located at the CARE For Change, Inc. 3621 N. Kelley Ave., Suite 100, Oklahoma City, OK 73111. The 2024 camp is scheduled for June 17 - 20 and 24 - 27,  from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.  For Ages 12-15.

Teen Life Community Camp is designed to develop various life and educational skills in children and adolescents. The camp’s program seeks to enhance:
Leadership and team building
Culture and community
Self-esteem, self-discipline, self-motivation, self -actualization
Substance Abuse Prevention and Intervention Skills
Education (reading, writing, & history)
Social Skills and Impulse Control (Chess, Sports, Games etc.)
Life skills (communication, leadership, integrity)
Health/Fitness/Wellness awareness
Creativity

Teen Life Community Camp offers a chance for kids to interact with their peers in a controlled, welcoming atmosphere. Each day will cover a topic listed above as well as goal-setting, teamwork, relaxation, and important values such as hard work, respect, integrity, self-respect, and many more topics. Participants will gain valuable life and educational skills that can help them succeed in school and later in the world of work. In addition, we will be exploring the world of creative arts expression through music, dance, and art/craft activities. Campers will be bringing home a variety of artworks and projects for your family to enjoy.    

A healthy breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided on a daily basis. Each day begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Children are to be dropped off and checked in on a daily basis by parent or guardian. Parents and/or guardians are expected to pick up children between 5:00 and 5:30 PM.
